GridHot.ID -Belakangan ini, pemberitaan media dipenuhi dengan aksikapal China yang nyelonong ke perairan Natuna.
Tindakan angkuh negeri Tirai Bambu yang ingin mendapat julukan penguasa lautan baru itu tentu saja menuai reaksi keras dari Indonesia.
Mengutip The Guardian, Senin (6/1/2020), memang sedari tahun 1980, militer China membangun angkatan perang secara besar-besaran.
Hal itu dilakukan China demi terjaminnya kejayaan jalur perdagangan sutra modern yang dijuluki proyek OBOR (One Belt One Road).
Proyek OBOR nantinya akan menghubungkan jalurdari Shanghai sampai ke Hamburg, Jerman, sejauh 8.050 km.
Sebagaimana diketahui, pendapatan terbesar China berasal dari ekspor, sehingga proyek OBOR senilai Rp 131 triliun dijadikan prioritas utama oleh mereka.

Namun demikian, proyek OBOR bukan tanpa hambatan.
Rusia sudah menyetujui adanya OBOR, tapi halangan terbesar datang dari negara raksasa Amerika Serikat (AS).
AS yang tak suka hegemoninya diganggu oleh China langsung mengerahkan upayanya membendung China dengan memanfaatkan sekutunya di Asia macam Filipina, Jepang, dan Korea Selatan hingga Australia untuk melawan China.
Armada Ketujuh US Navy pun langsung wara-wiri di Laut Cina Selatan (LCS) sebagai penanda bahwa AL China (People's Liberation Army Navy/PLA Navy) tak boleh sembarangan asal klaim.
Menghadapi semua itu, PLA Navy tentu sudah punya persiapan yang mumpuni.
PLA Navy membangun kekuatan angkatan lautnya yang berkonsep Blue Water Navy dengan maksud menyaingi armada AL AS.
Bahkan, hanya dalam satu tahun galangan kapal China dapat meluncurkan 28 kapal perang dari kelas Korvet sampai Destroyer.
Angka yang terbilang besar untuk ukuran pembuatan kapal perang di kelas tersebut.
